Summer Programs

"I came to Aspen for the winter and stayed through the summer." Aspen is a town of dedicated long time locals and has a reputation for pulling its visitors in season after season. In the summer the town feels big, but the space around town is vast and can be filled with adventures. We guide Day Hikes to high alpine valleys filled with endless fields of wildflowers, streams and lakes. Challenges and personal goals can be met on the Colorado Fourteen Thousand Foot Peaks, through Backpacking Trips, Backcountry Overnight Hut Trips and Rock Climbing. AAG offers a full roster of family adventures as well as Technical Mountaineering Instruction and High Altitude Training for Runners and Cyclists.

All trips include local transportation to trailheads and climbing areas, day packs and poles, and lunches can be arranged if needed.
